Assistant Vice President, Business Finance

Key Responsiblities: 

Responsible for GFM’s expense management and ad hoc projects/UATs.

 

  • Prepare annual OPEX budget and monthly OPEX forecast for GFM.
  • Conduct annual cost allocation review.
  • Analyze GFM’s spending and highlight key risks and opportunities identified.
  • Manage GFM’s spending to ensure expenses are well contained within approved budget.
  • In charge of month-end accruals posting.
  • Assist the team lead in ad hoc projects/UAT.
  • Attend to ad hoc finance related queries/projects from/in collaboration with internal and external parties.

 

Job Requirements: 

Education and Experience

  • Professional qualification or degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in business finance/financial planning & analysis or external audit, preferably in banking or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge in bank operations and treasury product/instrument will be an added advantage.

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Possess strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerQuery and PowerPivot etc).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, good time management skills, able to deliver quality work on time and juggle multiple requirements.
  • High attention to detail, integrity and business/operational acumen.
