We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Corporate Deposit unit under Group Corporate & Institutional Banking division as an Assistant Vice President, Corporate Deposit.

 

The Role 

 

A successful candidate in this position will be accountable to manage day-today Deposit activities in deepening of client relationships and share of wallet with principal accountabilities in tailoring cash management solutions and to grow transaction fee revenues, liabilities portfolio and increase market share as well as to acquire new to bank deposits client.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Business Growth

  • Drive target market segmentation and wallet sizing exercise to develop strategies to enhance market share – Corporate  
  • Market existing and new cash management solutions by providing effective customer solutions tailored to the target market.

 

Sales Management

  • Manage the sales team pipeline process by providing effective sales management through account planning, opportunities identification, process qualification, client engagement, solutions building & presentation to new to bank clients, negotiation and closure of deals (acquired new to bank).
  • Work closely with key business partners & stakeholders in tailoring cash management solutions for effective and seamless customer delivery to ensure optimum business service and delivery alignment

 

Cross Selling

  • Work closely with other areas in the groups to develop joint business development initiatives in order to maximize cross-selling opportunities.

 

Sales Training

  • Deliver staff satisfaction through use of quality training plans and develop knowledge transfer and the sharing of best practice to ensure staff receives appropriate training and development and to embed a climate of continuous improvement overcoming barriers and establishing a ”can do” team culture.

 

Business Risk

  • Monitor the business risks associated with cash management solutions offering within the risk tolerance of the Bank.

 

Sales Report

  • Collate and review weekly sales team performance.  Prepare updates for Monthly business reviews.

Knowledge

  • In depth knowledge of Cash Management product range including relevant branch, operational and customer service environments
  • Knowledge of market trends and current developments
  • Good working knowledge of Pricing/Costing/Volume/Quality relationships
  • Knowledge of Deposits’ regulations, business/products and operations including AML fundamentals.

 

Experience

  • Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics, monitoring and tracking for results.
  • Graduate with a degree and at least 5 years’ experience in all aspects of sales and business development covering the areas of cash management, payments and deposits.
