  1. Perform statutory reporting activities for the Group. These would include year-end audited accounts, quarterly accounts and ensure that statutory financial statements are prepared accurately and submitted on timely basis in accordance to accounting standards and all regulatory requirements.
  2. Well-versed in accounting standards, regulatory guidelines and internal procedures and policies. Able to provide insight on accounting treatment and interpret the accounting standards effectively and efficiently.
  3. To assess new accounting standards, plan and establish new accounting process with internal / external parties, and execute changes to address new accounting standards requirement. This includes standards interpretation, data gathering and data consolidation in order to enable the new requirements is properly reflected in the financial statements.
  4. Responsible for monthly closing of accounts for the Group, well verse in performing consolidation across entity and perform reasonableness analysis to ensure accuracy of the financial numbers closed. Excellent knowledge in the preparation of statutory account and disclosure notes as per bank annual report.
  5. Provide analysis and reconciliation on banks treasury balance sheet, profit and loss account and net open position. Well verse in banks treasury business and impact to financial statements.
  6. Key liaison person for Annual Reports preparation and to establish good communication with the regulators, relevant internal stakeholders and external/internal auditor in relation to the statutory financial report pertaining to the Group.
  7. Support various request on financial numbers analysis & benchmarking & KPI, etc
  8. Custodian of the bank GL COA and provide constructive advice on GL matter.
  9. Initiate process improvement by continuously reviewing the existing process, implement improvements to increase efficiency and enhance SOP for day-to-day activities.
  10. Responsible for new product setup and review of accounting entries
  11. To undertake any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the superior.
