Job Descriptions :
- Plan and execute the daily funding operation with the objective to meet the ABMB and/or AIS liquidity requirement.
- Execute short term cash mismatch strategies with the objective to meet the ABMB and/or AIS budgeted net interest income.
- Plan and execute active management of LCR or its equivalent Framework for the ABMB and/or AIS with the objective to maintain and develop an effective and efficient cost of borrowing.
- Develop corporate client deposit base in Money Market Deposit instrument with the objective to diversify sources of funding for the ABMB and/or AIS in order to maintain and improve the cost of borrowing and manage liquidity risk.
- Assist to analyze and simulate various business scenario in order to ensure sufficient liquidity buffer for the ABMB and/or AIS.
- To provide competitive transfer pricing in Bankers Acceptance rates, Cost of Fund and Fixed Rate Loan in order to assist business unit managers in making sound financial decision.
- Actively monitor and ensure strict compliance in Statutory Reserve Ratio (SRR) and the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and/or its equivalent framework are within the limits required by Regulatory Authorities.
- Ensure strict compliance of policies and guidelines with the objective of meeting audit standards.
- Ensuring compliance under Anti-Money Laundering (AML):-
- Monitor activities for compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and counter-financing of terrorism requirements/initiatives.
- Ensure reporting for suspicious transactions and escalate it to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Officer,
- Ensure all staff within the business/support units has undergone Anti-Money Laundering training.
- Completion and maintenance of functions ongoing on Control Self Assessment (CSA) and fact sheets (completed or to be completed) and its submission to relevant parties on a timely basis.
- Monitoring and escalation of compliance breaches and significant risks issues in accordance with the issues reporting & escalation structure under Compliance Operational Risk Management (CORM) framework as well as the internal policies of the bank
- Reviewing adequacy and effectiveness of Disaster Recovery Plan and Business Continuity Management for the business/support.
- Promote risk and compliance awareness culture within Business or Support.
- To meet minimum required training days in related areas in order to enhance skill set and applying new skills on the job to enhance deliverables and for succession planning purposes.
- To provide coaching to Managers (if any) to enable them to perform their duties (where required)
Job Requirements :
- At least 5 years experience in Treasury, particularly in Money Market Deposit sales.
- Must possess Dealer License issued by Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM).
- Understands economic and market development.
- Ability to identify issues, problems and opportunities for execution.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Possess excellent analytical skills.
