IL

  • To manage collections by following up on IL diligently.
  • To discuss with customers with a view to restructure/reschedule IL accounts
  • To recommend repayment proposals to the approving authorities for approval.
  • To undertake post mortems and highlight credit deficiencies and recommendation on way forward to address the issues.
  • To check and ensure accurate monthly submission of individual assessments under FRS 139.
  • To ensure timely notification and claim submission to CGC

 

    Legal Action

  • To liaise with and manage solicitors in order that speedy actions are taken for the recovery of monies where direct negotiations have not been successful.

 

    Monitoring & Compliance

  • To ensure timely and accurate updating of progress reports to ensure all actions are current.
  • To strictly comply with BNM GP3 Guidelines and the Recovery Policies & Guidelines on NPL
  • Skills 
    • Possess problem solving, decision making skills and ability to think analytically and present practical solutions/proposals.
    • Good working knowledge of collections of IL and basic understanding of the Malaysian legal system.
    • Possess good communication skills to negotiate with borrowers and convey proposals for approval
    • Good time management to ensure proper attention to assigned accounts and work is executed/completed in a timely manner
    • Team player and able to work within GSAM and other division

     

     

    Knowledge

    • Preferably possess a Diploma or Degree in related discipline
    • Computer literate

     

     

    Experience

    • A minimum of 3 years experience in Credit and/or recovery function
    • Good understanding & working knowledge of legal requirements under the Malaysian National Land Code
    • In depth knowledge of recovery practices
