Acquiring - Merchant Technical

The Acquiring team is concerned in ensuring frictionless, safe and compliant Visa/Mastercard acceptance throughout our network and systems; we are part of the back-end teams working to ensure seamless credit card acceptance.

• This is a technical role, you will be expected to perform programming as part of the job scope (e.g. Python, Javascript etc.).
• Minimum bachelor’s degree. Field of study in computing or IT is recommended but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

• To manage Visa/Mastercard Technical Acquiring compliance and mandates.
• To manage E-commerce gateway integration and testing.
• To manage POS certification and testing.
• Ad-hoc transaction investigation.

We are looking for:

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience of one or more of the following: ISO 8583 standards, PCI DSS, Visa/Mastercard payment terminologies (CIS, IPM, VIP, BASE II), and E-commerce APIs (MPGS, CYBS).
• You are encouraged to apply even without relevant experience, as we will assess each candidate's abilities and working experience individually to determine if they are a suitable fit for the role. For example, candidates with strong project management backgrounds will be viewed favourably despite having no experience with payments, since the role involves substantial project management skills as well. Similarly, we encourage candidates with programming experience to apply.
