Job Responsibiliites

1. Build/maintain industry-level portfolio dashboards (exposure, growth, concentration, risk grade
migration, watchlist, delinquency/NPL indicators) to support portfolio governance.
2. Segment the portfolio by industry, subsector, product, customer type (SME/corporate), geography,
and collateral type to reveal where lending is concentrated and why.
3. Analyze credit performance trends: roll rates, arrears buckets, migration matrices, restructurings,
recoveries, and early delinquency to detect emerging stress.
4. Identify “better/worse” internal segments using risk-adjusted metrics (expected loss proxies,
return on risk-weighted assets, pricing vs. risk, collateral coverage) for appetite refinement.
5. Conduct cohort and vintage analysis to compare underwriting periods and policy changes with
subsequent credit outcomes by industry and product.
6. Develop internal early warning models/flags leveraging facility behavior (utilization spikes,
covenant breaches, limit excess, declining turnovers where available) and link to industry EWIs.
7. Provide targeted insights for underwriting and reviews, including peer benchmarking of client
leverage/coverage ratios.
8. Support stress testing and sensitivity analysis by translating external shocks (rates, energy
costs, demand slowdowns) into portfolio-level impact views (segment-level exposure at risk).

Job Requirements

Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in financial data tools and Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Knowledge

  • Understanding of financial statements, and credit assessment principles
  • Understanding internal/external guidelines
  • Awareness of macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific dynamic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.

Experience

  • At lease 8-10 years of experience in research, analysis, credit, or finance-related roles.  
  • Prior exposure to Real Estate, Construction, Commodities, Electrical & Electronics/Technology is an advantage.
