Role Overview (Dual Scope)

Scope A — AI/ML (Innovation)

Design and validate AI/ML and GenAI prototypes that enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and unlock insights.

You will:

  • Explore use cases (personalization, NLP/chat, document intelligence, fraud/anomaly signals, operations analytics).
  • Prepare data: collection, cleaning, feature engineering; maintain data lineage and documentation.
  • Train/evaluate models (classification, NLP, time-series, recommendations), track metrics, and iterate.
  • Build POCs/demos (notebooks, lightweight APIs, dashboards) to evidence business value.
  • Contribute to GenAI prompt design, grounding (e.g., RAG), evaluation sets, and safety guardrails.
  • Document results (Model Cards, experiment logs); support UAT/pilot readiness.

Tech you might use: Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch), Jupyter, MLflow/Evidently, vector DBs, Power BI/Streamlit, Git/GitHub, Azure/AWS/GCP.

Scope B — Testing for Digital Channels (Mobile & Web)

Plan and execute testing for mobile apps and web banking channels to ensure reliability, performance, accessibility, and compliance.

You will:

  • Test Planning & Design: Create test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and traceability to requirements.
  • Functional & Regression Testing: Execute exploratory, smoke, and regression tests across journeys (onboarding, login, payments/transfers, cards, service requests).
  • Cross-Platform & Compatibility: Test across devices/OS/browsers (iOS/Android, Chrome/Safari/Edge), screen sizes, network conditions.
  • API & Integration Testing: Validate APIs (auth, transactions, notifications), error handling, and resilience; use Postman or similar.
  • Non-Functional Testing:
    • Performance: baseline latency/throughput; assist with load tests.
    • Accessibility: check WCAG 2.1 AA basics (contrast, labels, focus order, screen readers).
    • Security Coordination: support secure testing readiness (OWASP ASVS/MASVS orientation), log redaction, secrets handling; liaise with security teams.
  • Automation (Foundations): Contribute simple scripts/tests (Selenium, Appium, Playwright); add to CI (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
  • Defect Management: Log reproducible defects with evidence, support triage, verify fixes, maintain dashboards.
  • Release Readiness: Support UAT, A/B tests, go/no‑go checklists, and post-release monitoring (crash/error reports, analytics signals).
  • Documentation: Test reports, risk/issue logs, runbooks, and user journey coverage maps.
