We are currently seeking a enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our Islamic Market Coverage department under our Alliance Islamic Bank (AIS) entity as an Intern, Islamic Investment Solutions.

 

Job Description

 

Business Support

  • Daily - track daily sales from the provider
  • Weekly - compile sales number for weekly reporting
  • Fortnightly - conduct aging exercise for Credit Takaful products (MRTT, BRTT, BLTT) - liaison between Group Credit Administration (GCA) and Takaful provider, ensure takaful disbursement to reflect AIS income.
  • Monthly - Follow up Islamic Wealth income performance from Group Finance (GF)
  • Monthly - update AMM deck

 

Product Development

  • Guided (assist) maker function for product paper
  • Papers caretaker between AIS and stakeholders eg. Shariah, Compliance, Risk – keep track on timeline and monitor responses

 

Business Maintenance

  • Compliance & Risk – timeline caretaker for business partner ADD exercise
  • Regulatory – assist in tracking request and responses on regulatory matters

  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.             
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle a myriad of people across all levels.
  • Resourceful and adaptable in a changing environment.          
  • Good planning and organization skills to meet objectives within stipulated deadlines

 

Knowledge

  • Microsoft – Excel, Word and Power Point at intermediate level
  • Writing – basic formal communication for email mainly in English
  • Basic knowledge in Wealth Management (Investment / Takaful) would be an added advantage
