Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting

Job Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing of management accounts and trend analysis on financial results.
• Ensure monthly closing is completed within timelines.
• Prepare/compile/consolidate financial data and analysis for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
• Drafting of statutory reports, which include year-end audited accounts, quarterly accounts.
• Support and assist various internal/external requests on financial numbers, which involve financial data crunching, data analysis and benchmarking.
• Prepare financial statements for website and newspaper publication.
• A liaison person for external auditors and BNM.

Job Requirement

• Possess a degree in Accounting or professional qualification ie, ACCA/CPA/CIMA will be an advantage.
• Min 3 years of working experience with good knowledge of accounting standards, banking industry compliance requirement such as Companies Act, Financial Services Act etc.
• A team player who is articulate with high degree of integrity and good time management.
• Analytical mind in financial review.
