Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy
Conceptualise, and execute business strategies to drive business deposit and business FX fee income growth. Key activities include:
- Conduct pre-campaign/initiative analysis or opportunity sizing: Identify target audience and build business case to evaluate benefit and cost, as well as to assess potential risk and return to the Bank.
- Perform customer segmentation based on available customers’ data, identify our target audience, as well as their persona based on insights derived from the data.
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders to develop unique value propositions and to deliver the right messages to engage with our target audience.
- These include identifying the right marketing mix to effectively reach out and capture the interest of our target audience at different stages of the marketing funnel.
- Design meaningful customer journey as well as develop viable sales, leads management and customer fulfilment process to promote operational effectiveness and efficiency while ensuring adherence to internal operating procedures as well as risk and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and conduct briefings to our customer-facing team (i.e. sales, branches, contact centre, etc.) to drive effective sales pitch and lead-to-win conversion rate.
- Conduct regular and consistent research on the latest competitor offerings and/or market best practices/trends to keep our business ahead of other industry players.
Data Analytics and Performance Management
- Analyse and provide insights to both existing and new-to-bank customers portfolio to identify off-us opportunities, drive customer stickiness/anti-attrition, drive customer win-back/win over and to maximise product holding and revenue generated per customer.
- Track, monitor and analyse KPIs related to all initiatives and quickly build countermeasures (where necessary) to ensure all initiatives meet the strategic and financial objectives of the line of business and the Bank.
- Develop periodical management/strategic decks such as sales and campaigns dashboards, forecasts and performance reports to management.
- Establish sales dashboards to enable/empower sales team to give them a clear overview of their respective customers portfolio with the objective of unwrapping business opportunities while mitigating/managing potential outflow from customers.
- Leverage on data analytics to identify key learnings and provide recommendations on performance improvement.
- Perform periodical portfolio analysis to identify potential gaps or areas of opportunities to set the short and long-term business direction or sales approach, in line with the division or overall Bank’s goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
- Min. 2-3 years of working experience preferably with background in data analytics, portfolio management, campaign management and/or with business banking product/process know-how
- Strong project management skills
- Good command of language (English and Bahasa Malaysia)- both spoken and written
- Strong presentation and communication skills as well as influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently, as well as in a team to achieve common business goals and targets.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented.
