Manager, Loan Disbursement, Maintenance & Administration

The core responsibilities for this role include managing disbursements for the business loan portfolio, handling various loan administration tasks, and preparing management reports.

Tasks to be handled by the new replacement:

• To disburse / enforce all approved facilities granted by ABMB and AIS for both Business and Consumer Banking.
• To ensure timely release/drawdown of the loan with the objective of ensuring compliance of all approved terms and conditions and accuracy of data input within the turnaround time (TAT) and assisting the Consumer / Business Units achieve its revenue budgets of the Bank. Disbursement compliance under Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA)
• Disbursement of progressive payment to developer, sundry loan, vehicle loan, festival loan, IHP, BPC and documentation/disbursement of HP Loan
• Disbursement/Enforcement of approved Overdraft, Term Loan, Trade facilities, Forex and all other financing facilities.
• To handle loan administration functions in relation to borrowing/financing accounts post disbursement including monitoring DIBS, BNM funded schemes such as FSMI, CGC and SJPP.
• Handling requests for statement requests, lumpsum repayment and other loan related matters.
• Day to day functions relating to Loan Administration.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to Management and Bank Negara Malaysia.

• Manage and oversee GCA Projects and review, simplify automate/enhance current processes

• Projects : RLOS JCREDIT (Phase 2). To ensure smooth workflow within JOM and JCREDIT module. And guide users on the testing of the workflow. LO,LI,PA, Documentation, Disbursement Module  - target go live date 5/5/25.
• Projects : RLOS JCREDIT (Phase 3). To ensure smooth workflow within JCREDIT module. And guide users on the testing of the workflow for Post Production LI,PA, Documentation, Disbursement. Target go live date will be determined by PMO
• Projects : RLOS JCREDIT (Phase 3). To ensure smooth workflow within JCREDIT module. And guide users on the testing of the workflow for Redemption, Discharge, Perfection of Charge. Target go live date will be determined by PMO
• Projects : AOS. Straight thru process for business loans from issuance of LO,LI,PA, Documentation, Disbursement and Custodian. To work with AOS team to implement the process for GCA. The module will expanded to Redemption, Discharge, Perfection of Charge once Phase 1 goes live.
• Projects : GCA New eCredit File Storage Retention System. To build in retention fields in ECMS and create new folder for storage of processing files. Target to go live February 2026
• Processes – ILS reports. To open up report function that exist in ILS for users. This is to verify all daily work done in system. Target to live/implementation by vendor  : June 2025
