To assist the Head of Project Management on:
- Project Planning and Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive project strategy to align with the Bank's renovation objectives and goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Project Execution and Management
- Oversee and direct all renovation projects ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise.
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective utilization and efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders e.g. line of businesses, procurement, IT & network team, facilities management, finance teams etc, to align project objectives and secure necessary resources
- Maintain regular communication channels to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance
- Establish and enforce quality control processes and standards to ensure renovation works meet or exceed the bank's expectations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and reviews to identify and address any deviations from project specifications.
- Vendor Management
- Manage external contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring their adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
