JOB PURPOSE
As a RBIL Product Manager & GCB team member
Conduct market research and competitive analysis on product / services and perform benchmarking of products, services and pricing.
Provide support to marketing & product related activities in relation to RBIL in line with the overall business plan, strategy and budget.
Support and assist in project management
Provide RBIL products training / guidance to other sales channels and new staff in ABMB.
Support Share Trading Centre and other sales channels on day to day operations issues in relation to business/products/campaign etc

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Research & Marketing Development
Conduct market research and competitive analysis on product/services and perform benchmarking of products, services and pricing.
Liaise with agency to produce marketing collaterals and arrange campaign logistics for public events or wealth management public relation activities.
Assist in organizing product training and marketing support related activities in relation to Retail Broking & Investment Lending Department (RBIL) business.
Ensure product approval comply with Group and Bank standards and regulatory requirements.
System Product Development Management
Understand user requirements from the underlying true needs.
Liaison between the business/sales/operations/credit units, support teams and vendors on the changes/requirements.
Review Functional Specification Document (FSD)
Perform UAT and ensure the program/changes are in order before loading into production/live environment.
Assist in preparation of memo prior to project implementation. Seek MANCO/respective committees’ approval for key processes or major changes in processes.
Campaign Management
Manage promotions and campaigns programs duration and schedule to continuously drive sales.
Coordinate and collaborate closely with other divisions to ensure smooth execution of RBIL initiatives.
Review the competitiveness of products, promotions and campaigns.
Track promotions & campaigns results.
Perform post-mortem analysis on the project and gather feedback from STCs to determine the performance and propose corrective action (if required).
Manage suppliers, vendors, and advertising agencies to meet campaign timelines.
Work closely with all internal parties namely Group Marketing, Decision Management, Group Compliance, Group Legal, back office, branches and Share Trading Centre (STC) on the criteria, mechanism and process in relation to the campaign/promotions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (CONT’)
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
Analyze prospect data to explore on new opportunities for targeted customer acquisition.
Maintain target customer data in terms of access and privileges as well as manage the data distribution to the respective Regions/STCs accordingly.
X-sell initiatives Management
Produce daily and monthly business reports such as performance dashboard, new account activation rate, average utilization and year-to-date business achievements
Produce monthly report for sales staff (exempt dealers) that provides product suggestions/action plans based on different criteria
Product Training, Compliance & Service Quality Management
Train STC front liners to ensure proper understanding of the new product features & mechanism in the marketing of RBIL products to ensure no mis-selling & selling based on customers’ needs.
Guide RBIL backroom support to ensure proper understand of the new product launch & it’s end to end process.
Review end to end processes in relation to RBIL products to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality whilst striking a balance between ensuring optimal customer experience and cost management.
Ensure compliance with internal product approval process to relevant risk management committees and the board as required
Ensure compliance of necessary documentation/filing/lodgment to regulatory authorities for new and enhanced products
Updating corporate website as and when required.
Exercise due care and diligence on matters related to regulatory, money laundering, fraud, reputational and operational risks
Ensure management of information assets is in accordance to Group/Bank standards, policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain and control centralised knowledge repository with respect to product catalogues, product trends and product data access via financial magazines, newspapers and internet

KNOWLEDGE
·Aware of the industry trend & business / regulatory development of the Share Trading Center Business Model in Banks, and related business of the Investment Banks
·Good comprehension of business financial drivers, customer portfolio, market franchise, distribution and operational framework
·Good comprehension of system development knowledge & technical know-how of system analysis in relation to investment lending or share margin product & system development
Technicalities of share margin financing business, it’s risk management and controls
·Preferably with Share Market Industry knowledge

EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years experience in similar capacity in Banking or Stockbroking Industry
Proven and strong experience and exposure in consumer marketing and product management
