To grow liabilities primarily and deposit revenue through acquisition of new to bank customers and farming from the existing Business Banking portfolio with a view to building a sustainable base to support asset growth for the long term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build pipelines through aggressive prospecting of potential high deposit and cash management clients to achieve the mandated targets.
- Leverage on cash management products / new propositions (BizSmart, Direct Debit, JomPAY, FPX, RPP, Foreign Exchange (FX) products and Bancassurance product) to secure holistic operating accounts of SME customers.
- Be involved in account planning sessions with Account RMs to identify potential accounts to drive deposits growth and up sell cash management offerings to increase our share of this wallet thereby enhancing stickiness.
- Actively monitor Daily / Weekly Balance and Swing reports to ensure allocated targets are met .
- Collaborate with Product Development and Service Management teams to feedback for deliberation customer’s specific cash management solutions for possible enhancement where applicable. New business initiatives to boost sales.
- Build & deepen relationship with customers through phone calls, courtesy visits and close follow-ups to meet expectations.
- Conduct service review annually to understand and keep abreast with customer’s needs given the evolving business environment (including high-risk review).
- Ensure completeness of the necessary documentation to onboard customers for processing by branches/eBanking Operations including the set up for implementation by the Service Management team.
- Managing various fund’s matured / roll over / new placement in different maturities including seek approval for the FD rate, trustees / fund houses. Insurance companies (where applicable).
- Providing on customer ad-hoc service request (BizSmart related inquiry, change of Signatories / Biometric waiver, Oncoming payment / Rejected payments, etc).
Job Requirements

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing to a diverse customer portfolio, with demonstrated people management and leadership capabilities
- Strong business acumen proactive and a highly motivated self-starter
- Good sales and customer relationship management
- Strong analytical skill in financial accounting and well-verse in cash flow analysis
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills & strong customer service culture & a good team player
- Resourceful and adaptable – with ability to work in changing environment
- Initiative, drive, enthusiasm with strong selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills to meet objectives and deadlines
