1.    Provides innovative propositions to cater for micro / small SME segment via:
a)    Create / Enhance credit-scoring methodologies for micro / small SME segment, perform back-testing of DSME portfolio to identify risk factors that are most reflective / predictive of customer’s behaviour
b)    Identify data that would be required to create the models stated in 1a). Such models are to be developed and validated with the inputs from credit and risk.
c)    Identify vendors / solutions to meet the objectives of 1a) and 1b).
2.    Responsible to drive / develop new ways to reach the target segment using the combination of new technologies and identification of existing data / new data points required to improve the predictive-ness of existing credit models

3.    Risk Management:
a)    Refining Bank’s risk management approach, aligning Bank’s risk appetite to the target segments
b)    Refining the credit programmes to manage the credit cost.
c)    Other risk management control and capabilities, i.e. fraud detection.

4.    Provide competitive bench-marking to ensure the Bank continues to improve it’s value proposition vs competition.
5.    On-going monitoring of the portfolio of Digital SME, back-testing of the credit scoring models being used within Digital SME
6.    Work collaboratively with Credit and Risk stakeholders in ensuring that the model performance remain fit-for-purpose and meet both internal and external standards and requirements

Requirements:

Skills                 
•    Business-focused, as well as possessing good influencing, analytical and presentation skills.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.
•    Ability to analyze financial statements / date of the Bank as well as competitor’s (P&L / Balance Sheet).
•    Ability to effectively conceptualize, plan, manage and lead cross-functional projects throughout the life cycle, striving for optimum results in line with department objectives, deadlines budgets, internal procedures and controls.
•    Proactive and resourceful in problem solving and decision making.
•    Working within the human resource availability and capability profile.
Knowledge
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent. Advanced degree or professional qualification an added advantage
•    Proven ability to lead teams in high pressure situations under tight timeline.
•    Ability to understand key stakeholder’s needs and resolve conflicts effectively.
•    Ability to communicate effectively to senior management on high priority issues.
•    Strong business environment awareness and sensitivity to business, compliance and control issues.

Experience
•    Relevant Banking experience with 10 years and above with credit and data.
•    Have proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skill by conducting root cause analysis and statistical analysis.
•    Solid experience in banking operations and systems management.
•    Willingness to work extra miles in meeting tight deadlines
