VP AML/CFT System & Analytics Role – Key Responsibilities
Strategic System Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of AML/CFT systems across the Group.
- Oversee system architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, business needs, and risk appetite.
- Drive capital planning and budget management for AML/CFT technology investments.
- Champion innovation in AML/CFT system capabilities, including automation, AI/ML integration, and advanced detection logic.
Advanced Analytics & Intelligence
- Lead the development of analytics frameworks to detect complex ML/TF patterns using behavioral, transactional, and predictive models.
- Oversee the design and execution of data-driven solutions to reduce false positives and enhance alert quality.
- Present actionable insights to senior management, board committees, and regulators to support strategic AML/CFT decisions.
- Ensure analytics outputs are embedded into operational workflows and compliance dashboards.
Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key liaison between Group Compliance, GIT, vendors, and business units for AML/CFT system and analytics matters.
- Provide strategic advisory on AML/CFT system infrastructure for new products, services, and digital initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional working groups to align AML/CFT system enhancements with enterprise-wide risk management goals.
Regulatory & Audit Readiness
- Ensure AML/CFT systems and analytics capabilities meet evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead audit and regulatory engagements related to AML/CFT systems, ensuring timely and effective remediation of findings.
- Maintain oversight of system access controls, data integrity, and disaster recovery protocols.
