VP AML/CFT System & Analytics Role – Key Responsibilities

Strategic System Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of AML/CFT systems across the Group.
  • Oversee system architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, business needs, and risk appetite.
  • Drive capital planning and budget management for AML/CFT technology investments.
  • Champion innovation in AML/CFT system capabilities, including automation, AI/ML integration, and advanced detection logic.

Advanced Analytics & Intelligence

  • Lead the development of analytics frameworks to detect complex ML/TF patterns using behavioral, transactional, and predictive models.
  • Oversee the design and execution of data-driven solutions to reduce false positives and enhance alert quality.
  • Present actionable insights to senior management, board committees, and regulators to support strategic AML/CFT decisions.
  • Ensure analytics outputs are embedded into operational workflows and compliance dashboards.

Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the key liaison between Group Compliance, GIT, vendors, and business units for AML/CFT system and analytics matters.
  • Provide strategic advisory on AML/CFT system infrastructure for new products, services, and digital initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups to align AML/CFT system enhancements with enterprise-wide risk management goals.

Regulatory & Audit Readiness

  • Ensure AML/CFT systems and analytics capabilities meet evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead audit and regulatory engagements related to AML/CFT systems, ensuring timely and effective remediation of findings.
  • Maintain oversight of system access controls, data integrity, and disaster recovery protocols.
