Vice President, Systems and Operations Solutions

Job Purpose

To lead AIS’ operations and digital enablement functions by overseeing system integration, as well as digital and operational support. The role ensures process efficiency and regulatory compliance through close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, enabling seamless execution and operational readiness across AIS.

Key Respomsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end deployment, integration, and readiness of AIS systems and digital initiatives, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders—including IT, vendors, and business teams—to manage system requirements, SIT, and UAT for seamless delivery.
• Lead daily operational functions to uphold service quality, process integrity, and adherence to regulatory, Shariah, and internal control standards.
• Drive continuous operational and system improvements by resolving control gaps, managing risk, and ensuring audit-aligned execution.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to contribute to departmental planning and support execution of business objectives.
• Capability to identify process improvements and support automation initiative for efficiency.
• Familiarity with Islamic Banking principles and Shariah compliant products.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience with 5-10 years in banking / digital banking / fintech operations or technology roles.
• Prior experience in Islamic Banking is an added advantage.
• Experience in conceptualizing, managing and successfully implementing IT strategies from start to finish.
• Strong exposure to core banking integration, digital channels, cloud platforms and APIs.
• Proven track record in large scale system operations or digital transformation.
