We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Corporate Banking department as a Senior Relationship Manager to be based in Kuching, Sarawak.

The Role
A successful candidate in this position will be accountable for the following:
- Managing a portfolio of designated corporate banking clientele (existing and new prospect) to achieve the allocated key performance indicators.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and originate new borrowing relationships which involve in-depth understanding of the clients (Know Your Customer) and negotiation on key issues including but not limited to facility structure, pricing, security arrangement, covenants and terms and conditions.
- Prepare and present full set of credit application for approval by the relevant approving authority. For cases going to EXCO for review, a summary highlighting purpose, key risk issues and mitigants / justifications shall be prepared.
- Follow up with Group Company Secretary for finalization and accuracy of minutes and ensure minutes updates / matters arising are promptly and correctly updated.
- Liaise closely with Credit Support & Administration (CSA) and Group Legal to ensure timely issuance of Letter of Offer or Letter of Advice, as the case may be, and perfection of relevant security documentation as per approved terms and conditions for swift facility implementation and drawdown.
- Closely follow up on covenants, terms and conditions imposed by approving authority to ensure compliance and closure.
- Ensure timely submission of annual review.
- Ensure proper extension is sought through Expired Limit Extension (ELE) for reviews which cannot be completed in time supported by proper justifications.
- Ensure facilities are well utilized and account is well conducted.
- Cross-selling of AFG products as per agreed KPIs by working closely with Investment Banking, Transaction Banking (Cash Management and Trade Finance) and Treasury.
- Swift identification of early warning signals and high risk accounts and reporting under NEWS, if any.
- For account which has been fully settled, cancellation CAS shall be put up for Group Credit Underwriting notation and CSA for record.
- Handling ad-hoc assignments as and when tasked by management
Job Requirements
Skills
- Strong understanding of credit and risk analysis processes
- Good market knowledge and intelligence
- Good sales management and negotiation skills in dealing with middle to senior management of large corporate clientele
Experience
- At least 5 years of Corporate and/or Commercial banking related credit and risk analysis experience.
